Our mission is to celebrate military personnel and first responders with an inclusive, family-friendly festival honoring all who serve in the United States Armed Forces and protect us at home and abroad.

ARABIAN SEA (Oct. 8, 2019) Aviation Ordnanceman Airman Apprentice Carol Jimenez cleans the canopy of an F/A-18E Super Hornet attached to the “Sidewinders” of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 86 on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72). Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean Sea and the Pacific Ocean through the western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points. With Abraham Lincoln as the flagship, deployed strike group assets include staffs, ships and aircraft of Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 12, Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 2, the guided-missile cruiser USS Leyte Gulf (CG 55) and Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 7.
