Our mission is to celebrate military personnel and first responders with an inclusive, family-friendly festival honoring all who serve in the United States Armed Forces and protect us at home and abroad.
NC Freedom Fest 2026 will be held Saturday, September 12, from 12 noon to 9 p.m. in downtown Goldsboro, North Carolina.
The festival takes place along Center Street, from the intersection of Ash Street south to Pine Street.
NC Freedom Fest is held annually on the Saturday following Labor Day.
Yes! Admission to NC Freedom Fest is completely free.
There will be plenty of food, shopping, activities, and entertainment available throughout the festival. While admission is free, food, merchandise, and purchases from individual vendors are not included.
NC Freedom Fest runs from 12 noon to 9 pm.
Street Fair: 12–5 pm
Main Event: 5–9 pm
Live music will be featured throughout the day across three stages.

Absolutely! NC Freedom Fest is designed for the entire family. The Kids Zone will feature activities for children, and 2026 will also introduce new activities specifically for teens.
